Founded in 1961, Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library provides financial support for enhancements to library collections, sponsors educational and cultural programs, and makes possible special purchases for the Grant R. Brimhall and Newbury Park Branch Libraries.

Help Us Support Your Local Library System

Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library offers several ways for you to contribute!

Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. They make possible our many endeavors and allow us to maximize our gifts to the Thousand Oaks Library.

Buy Used Books

Used books are sold online, daily at both libraries and during larger, two-day events typically held at the Newbury Park Branch Library twice each year.

Donate your used books and other media to us for our daily and two-day book sales, or make a financial contribution to our Endowment Fund.

FOCUS Newsletter

Keep up with the latest Friends news by reading our FOCUS Newsletter, issued bimonthly.
