Skirball Cultural Center

Good news for lovers of culture, adventure, and expanding horizons—the Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library have resumed their popular bus tours, starting with a trip you won’t want to miss! Join us for a trip on Saturday, July 29th, to see the Paul Simon Exhibition: Words and Music, making its only West Coast stop at the Skirball Cultural Center. Organized by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the exhibition is a journey through the legendary artist’s life, music, and creative process.

The bus will leave the Newbury Park Library at 9:45 am (boarding begins at 9:30 am), and will return at approximately 4:15 pm. The guided tour and talk will be followed by a buffet lunch onsite, and you will have plenty of additional time to see the Skirball’s many other attractions and admire its beautiful views.

Tickets to the cultural bus tour are $46 for members of the Friends, and $51 for non-members; included in the price is the bus, tour/talk, lunch, admission to the Skirball Center, and even the driver’s gratuity! All you have to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy the day.
