The debut of Good Friends, Good Books, the Friends’ online used bookstore was a tremendous success! Even with minimal advertising, demand started strong and stayed that way. The team of volunteers, led by Janet Doman, Kate O’Brien, and Caryl Piernot worked tirelessly to add to the store’s inventory in every genre, and customers are coming back for more.
Children’s and general fiction are the store’s biggest sellers, but there is truly something for everyone: Adult fiction and nonfiction, children’s and Young Adult, how-to, fitness, cookbooks, mysteries, gift books; games, puzzles, CDs, DVDs, and more! Our current inventory is around 1300 books, so customers can browse to their heart’s content.
The Good Friends, Good Books merchandise is all carefully cleaned and processed by our volunteers in accordance with strict Covid safety protocols. Once the order is completed and packed, the order sits for a minimum of 48 hours before its contact-free delivery on Sunday morning. We want our customers to be able to shop with complete peace of mind about the books and media they receive.
The online store makes it easy to shop; make your selection from a wide range of categories of bargain-priced books in excellent condition. When you’re ready, check out through the store, then pick up your order from the friendly volunteer team of Friends at the Grant Brimhall Library on Sunday mornings! And of course, all proceeds benefit the library.
