Since 2006 when the Friends donated the 3600-gallon saltwater aquarium to the Library, thousands of visitors have gazed in awe at the aquarium which features a variety of colorful fish. The Friends support the annual maintenance of the aquarium because we know the value of this aquarium to the community. It brings joy and amazement to both adults and kids and for many it is a highlight of their visit to the Library. June is National Zoo and Aquarium Month.
