Reserve your seats now for the hottest ticket (and last bus trip!) of 2018: the Friends’ cultural bus tour of the Grammy Museum! On Saturday, December 8th, join us for an unforgettable day of music, music history, culture and more! Explore such exhibits as Culture Shock, which examines the frequently heated intersection of music and broader culture; Crossroads, which allows museum-goers to explore more than 160 genres of music; and In the Studio, an intensely interactive experience which takes you inside the recording process. And so much more—thirteen permanent exhibits/installations/experiences and the current ones as well. It promises to be a satisfying day for music lovers!
As always, leave the driving to us—we’ll be boarding the cushy bus at 8:30 am at the Newbury Park Library, and returning at approximately 4:30 pm. And as always, admission, bus, and driver gratuity are included in the low price of $42 for members and $47 for non-members. Lunch will be a no-host trip to the recently remodeled and always iconic Clifton’s Cafeteria.
This is a great trip for out-of-town guests or a holiday season outing—or just treat yourself! For more information or to make reservations, call Carol at 805-480-1450. We hope to see you on the bus!
